Privacy policy
Last updated: October 22, 2026
In short: Nominapedia sets no cookies, uses no analytics or advertising tools, and asks for no account or sign-up. You can search, compare and read about names without telling us anything about yourself.
Data controller
The controller of the little data described here is the publisher of the site (see the legal notice), who can be reached at info@saintspedia.com.
What the site does not do
- No cookies, neither ours nor any third party's, on Nominapedia pages. That is why no consent banner is shown.
- No analytics tool (no Google Analytics or equivalent), no advertising pixel, no embedded social media button.
- No forms, accounts, comments or newsletter.
- No fonts, videos or images loaded from another website: everything is served by our hosting provider.
The search box and the name comparison tool run entirely in your browser: the list of names is downloaded once, and what you type is sent to no one.
Hosting provider's technical logs
Like any web server, the one run by our hosting provider o2switch (France) automatically records, for each page requested, the IP address, date and time, the page viewed and the browser type. These logs are used only for security and to keep the site running (legal basis: legitimate interest). They are not sold or used to identify or profile you, and are deleted automatically after a limited period set by the hosting provider.
If you write to us
If you send us an email, we use your address and message only to reply to you. They are shared with no one and deleted once the exchange is over, at the latest three years after the last message.
Links to other websites
Nominapedia links to other websites, including our sister site Saintspedia for feast days. Once you click, you leave Nominapedia and the privacy policy of the site you visit applies.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to the processing of data about you. To exercise these rights, write to info@saintspedia.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr), or with the authority of your own country.
Changes to this page
If we ever add an analytics tool, advertising or affiliate links, this page will be updated beforehand, and your consent will be asked for whenever the law requires it.
